What if this or what if that … someone in the group is always that person. And they are necessary because they cause the team to take second looks at risk and to look ahead at possible circumstances.
You can’t live in that mode though. If you spend too much time looking at the what ifs you won’t get things done. The possible outcomes can suffocate the effort or postpone simply getting started.
The what if of any project is a critical and important piece of the due diligence process. Just don’t let it become a hindrance to pulling the trigger or allowing it to bog down the progress of the project.
