“Roots”
Trees don’t move. They can sway in the wind but where planted they stay put. The only travel a tree gets is by transplant. Its leaves move on when shed, but the tree itself is anchored in its roots.

A beautifully colored tree leaves you with an impression. So can people when they say or do things that impact in a positive way. I call those moments that build impressions. Some folks have a great knack or skill for continually building them.

One thing I’ve observed from some of the neatest people I’ve met is that they don’t forget where they come from. They proudly hang onto their heritage – their roots.

Unlike trees, people are always on the move. Like trees, we all have roots. Remember them. Embrace them. And allow them to be part of your journey.
