Old Dog, New Tricks

I have a new dog. She’s learning new tricks. I’m an old dog, to use that term. I don’t want to learn too many new tricks. I’m happy with certain things and I sort of like my routines.

But my dog is reminding me every day how new experiences and tricks fuel happiness and feed the soul. Bell, as we call our new baby, like treats. So she’s very willing to learn new tricks in order to get them.

No matter our age, job, role, or title … incentives work. We can incentivize ourselves by simply having worthy goals and then striving to attain them. To achieve some goals, you’ll need to find and perform some new tricks, even if you’re an old dog like me.
