No Huddle

Last week’s Pay Note brought a message about how to play the game in the fourth quarter by making necessary adjustments and preparing for that last push to achieve goals. This week I’d like to look at yet another football analogy. I can’t help myself – I love football.

The “no huddle” is where a team playing offense eliminates wasted time and uses more of it to execute plays down the field with the goal of moving the ball faster toward the goal line. It is extremely productive when players know what to do and are ready to play with urgency and instinct. When working in this mode, you take more control of the situation.

Alone or as a team member of an organization, it can be very beneficial to look at life and live it in the no huddle in order to accomplish more in less time.
