Cleaning Your Messes

Last week I wrote about urban sprawl. At the end, I made mention of how our messes left unclean for others to pick up is like dumping a dose of unwelcomed urban sprawl onto someone else.

Why is that some people go around oblivious to the mess they make or the clutter left in the path of their travel? Ever witness the act of littering? How does it make you feel?

I come from the old fashioned value system where you pick up or clean up your own messes. If you don’t, its considered (or was considered) lazy and inconsiderate.

Whether you clean messes or make them, both can become a habit. But only one of them will build impressions.
