Be hopeful. Remain humble.

The Lokai
“Life is full of joy and sadness, and we can all relate to its highs and lows. The lokai reminds us to stay balanced and centered,” says Steven Izen, creator of the lokai bracelet.

When you hit a low in life, that is the time to be hopeful. When you’re on top of the world, those are the moments to remain humble.

Be hopeful. Remain humble. That’s the message of the lokai.

Two of my team members on staff introduced me to these bracelets. Each one comes with two special beads. One is black and within it is mud from the dead sea—the lowest point on earth. The other is white and carries a drop of water from the highest point on earth—Mount Everest.

Looking back over the past year, how did you handle your highs and lows? Looking to the year ahead, you know there will be peaks and valleys, ups and downs, wins and losses.

You might not own or wear a lokai bracelet, but we can all apply its meaning to our lives and try to be hopeful and remain humble every day.
