“Award vs Reward”
An award is what you get for winning or being recognized for an accomplishment. Some come as a complete surprise while others are the result or goal of putting yourself through a specific course or action or activity.

A reward is something you get for making an effort. Sometimes it comes in the simple form of satisfaction or a pat on the pack. If you use a credit card or travel a lot, you might be rewarded with points or miles.

Award or reward?

If you hold the value of building impressions in high esteem, then know the difference but expect neither. Just know that if you aim your thinking and efforts in the right directions that both will come in due time.
